Once a player makes a meld, they lay out the cards upright on the gameplay area. Players may play onto any other players melds as well as their own. When a player gets rid of all of their cards, they are out. A set of three or more cards of the same rank, such as 7-7-7. A run of three or more cards in the same suit, such as A-2-3 of hearts. A combination can contain more than three cards, but no card can be counted as part of more than one combination. During the game a player may add to their own spread, or an opponent’s spread. Play ends when a player has no cards left. Tonk is a matching card game. It is relatively a fast paced game that can be played by 2-3 players. Deal five cards, clockwise, to each player. Face cards count for 10 points, aces for 1, and the rest are at face value.
